Jay-Z Responds To Cuba & Nets Critics With An “Open Letter” Song Featuring Swizz Beatz & Timbaland

Jay-Z recently took a lot of heat from the Republican party for his recent trip to Cuba with wife Beyonce Knowles. Controversy circulated over what type of clearance the business mogul received while on his trip. As Marco Rubio states “U.S. law clearly bans tourism to Cuba by American citizens because it provides money to a cruel, repressive and murderous regime.”

By now, the Hip-Hop world has a hard time differentiating between the civil liberties and per say “Diplomatic Immunity” given to Sean “Jay-Z” Carter versus our President Barack Obama. Jay-Z has done a lot for his community and maybe his ambitions to expand have clouded his vision on what can and can’t be done in the world. Anyway, what’s $50,000 (50 g’s) to a man like Jay-Z? In case you think he needed a reminder that he is not the President or a politician, especially after his recent trip to Cuba, here is an audio version of an “Open Letter” by President Carter.
