Nike Plans to Make Neymar a Bigger Star Than Cristiano Ronaldo

VIA: There appears to be a changing of the guard at Nike Soccer.

Mexico's Economíahoy is reporting that Nike is planning to replace Cristiano Ronaldo with Neymar as the global face of Nike Soccer beginning in 2016. Ronaldo, 30, is a three time winner of the Ballon d'Or, but is on the down swing of a spectacular career. Neymar, 23, has been the face of Brazilian soccer star for some years now and with Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi injuring his knee earlier this year, Neymar has taken his game to another level and shined in his absence.

During their time with the Swoosh, Nike developed a signature model and collection for Ronaldo while Neymar has been the prominent figure behind the Hypervenom collection. With this upcoming move, it's assumed Neymar will eventually receive his own signature line as well and it'll be interesting to see what Nathan Vanhook and company cook up for Nike's new soccer icon.

Holly Holm Asked Beyonce What Her Name Was

"I meet Jay-Z and he says "This is my wife," and I'm like, "Oh, hi, what's your name?" 'Cos that's what I do when I meet someone's wife. And as I'm shaking her hand, I'm thinking, "Why did I just say that? Why did I just say that? It's Beyonce. Then Jay-Z's asking me about the fight, and I can't even focus on what he's saying because I just put my foot in my mouth. And I literally have to interrupt him, I'm like, "I'm really sorry." And I go back to Beyonce, and I'm like, "Beyonce, like, I can't believe I just did that." Yeah, she goes, "Oh, no it's fine." I'm like, "No, like, I really, really -- it's like such an honor to meet you."

This Guy Is Going Through Facebook Hell Because His Name Is Phuc Dat Bich

TOI – A Vietnamese-Australian called Phuc Dat Bich has spoken of his anger after repeatedly being blocked by Facebook. The 23-year-old, whose name according to the Evening Standard is pronounced Phoo Da Bic, has posted an image of his passport on the social media site after it banned him several times. His picture of proof, and its accompanying message, has been shared more than 123,000 times. “I find it highly irritating the fact that nobody seems to believe me when I say that my full legal name is how you see it,” he said. “I’ve been accused of using a false and misleading name of which I find very offensive.” He went on to explain that his frustration was due to what he suggested was a lack of understanding in the West for names which appear amusing to some. “Is it because I’m Asian? Is it?” he asked in the post. “Having my (Facebook) shut down multiple times and forced to change my name to my ‘real’ name, so just to put it out there. My name. “Yours sincerely, Phuc Dat Bich”.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ International Trailer Is Full Of Never-Before-Seen Footage

Check Out The Creepy Seth Rollins WrestleMania ‘Easter Egg’ That Has The Internet Talking

Jump to the 4:47 mark of the video. Did you see it?

Here it is again in GIF form:

VIA: As MPBrouser over at Reddit pointed out, this quick production error has turned into a creepy “Easter egg” of sorts for Seth Rollins’ WWE World Heavyweight Championship run. On the night he won it from Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31 by cashing in his Money in the Bank Briefcase and pinning Roman Reigns, a SURVIVOR SERIES logo briefly flashed on the video screen behind him. Why is that notable? Because Rollins’ championship reign will end during the build for Survivor Series, thanks to him blowing out his knee during a match in Ireland. Weird.

This is the kind of moment you wish could’ve happened on purpose, if only for Rollins’ injury to be part of the story and NOT something that keeps one of the company’s top stars on the shelf for more than half a year. Also, because you want someone to go through it frame-by-frame and find images of Bray Wyatt commanding lightning in the background. Wyatt’s currently reliving his WrestleMania feud with The Undertaker heading into Survivor Series, right? Just bring it all full circle.
