Ted Mosby Of 'HIMYM' Responds To LeBron James' Big Move

VIA: LeBron James is returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and fictional Ohio native Ted Mosby has some feelings about it.

In a video released exclusively to EW, HIMYM star Josh Radnor, who hails from Columbus, Ohio, responds to the big news both as himself and as Ted Mosby, the character he played on HIMYM for nine years.

As How I Met Your Mother fans know, Ted Mosby was not happy when James left the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Miami Heat in 2010, and was still holding a grudge several years later. After James announced his big move on Friday, Radnor’s Twitter feed was bombarded by HIMYM fans asking how Ted felt about the news, and Radnor made a video in response.

The video opens with a hirsute Radnor hearing the news for the first time and not having much to say. It then cuts to a cleanly shaven Radnor in character as Ted Mosby, sporting an Wesleyan University shirt, and expressing his thoughts on James’ homecoming. A certain iconic musical instrument from the show also makes an appearance.
