VIA: 20 years ago to the day, two classic albums were introduced to the Hip-Hop Nation. These two iconic albums would also go on to represent the Yin and Yang of 1993: Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) with it’s sample heavy, lo-fi sound coupled with dark, ominous instrumentals provided by the RZA, and Midnight Marauders, laden with lots of intoxicating jazz pleasantries and breakbeats. Both albums were profoundly magnetizing and would live on to be quintessential must hear LPs for both new and old heads alike. Congrats to ATCQ & Wu-Tang. 20-fucking years!
