Great News For All New York Giants Fans Victor Cruz Gets $43 million, 5-Year Extension

The New York Giants expressed optimism throughout the entire offseason that eventually a deal would get done for Victor Cruz.

The wide receiver is getting paid now with training camp about two weeks away.

Cruz will sign a $43 million, five-year extension that will be added to the one-year contract he is under after signing his tender as a restricted free agent last month. Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reported the news.

That means the Giants will get the explosive playmaker to training camp on time and in the right frame of mind after he chose to sit out the voluntary offseason program. Now, the Giants have to go about signing fellow wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, who is entering the final year of his contract.
